This Chocolate Oreo Protein Ice Cream is a creamy, delicious dessert made with chocolate milk, protein powder, and Oreo pudding mix, blended and frozen to perfection using the Ninja Creami machine. It combines the indulgent flavor of Oreos with the nutritional boost of protein powder, making it a great guilt-free treat or post-workout snack.

Ingredients

Base

  • 360 ml chocolate milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Oreo pudding mix or chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 pinch salt

Mix-ins

  • Oreo Thins, as desired
  • Mini chocolate chips, as desired

Instructions

  1. Combine Base Ingredients: Pour chocolate milk, chocolate protein powder, selected pudding mix, and a pinch of salt into an empty Ninja Creami pint container.
  2. Blend Base Mixture: Whisk or use a milk frother to thoroughly blend all base ingredients inside the Creami pint until completely smooth and well mixed.
  3. Freeze Base: Place the pint on a level surface in the freezer, uncovered, and freeze for 24 hours to ensure the mixture solidifies thoroughly into ice cream-ready consistency.
  4. Process Ice Cream: After freezing, transfer the pint to the Creami outer bowl, secure the lid, and place it into the machine’s base. Twist the handle right to raise and lock the platform. Select the Lite Ice Cream setting and run the cycle. Additional respins should not be necessary.
  5. Add Mix-ins: Using a spoon, create a 4 cm wide well in the center of the processed ice cream. Add Oreo Thins or mini chocolate chips as desired. Run the mix-in program once to evenly distribute the mix-ins.
  6. Serve: Remove the pint from the Creami, serve immediately, topping with additional crushed Oreos or your preferred toppings for extra texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Freeze the base mixture for a full 24 hours to achieve optimal texture for processing in the Ninja Creami.
  • You can substitute Oreo Thins with regular crushed Oreos or other chocolate cookies according to preference.
  • The pudding mix adds thickness and enhances creaminess, but if unavailable, use your favorite chocolate pudding mix as a substitute.
  • Protein powder flavor can be adjusted based on your taste, vanilla protein powder may also work well.
  • Serve immediately after processing for the best soft-serve texture; leftovers can be re-frozen and respun if needed.
