Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup.
  2. Separate the Rolls: Without pulling the rolls apart, slice the whole pack of Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half to create a top and bottom layer.
  3. Add Cheese and Bacon: Place the bottom half of the rolls on the prepared baking tray. Layer the cheddar cheese slices evenly over the rolls. If using bacon, cook it until crispy in a skillet or microwave, then layer it on top of the cheese.
  4. Top the Rolls: Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese and bacon layers, pressing gently to fit together.
  5. Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Brush the Butter: Generously brush the butter mixture over the top of the Hawaiian rolls, ensuring even coverage for maximum flavor and browning.
  7. Bake: Bake the assembled sandwich in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the rolls are golden brown, and the tops are slightly crispy.
