A refreshing and creamy vegan strawberry milk made with fresh or frozen strawberries simmered with natural sweetener and vanilla, blended with creamy oat milk. Perfect for a healthy and delicious dairy-free treat.

Ingredients

Strawberry Base

  • 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen, hulled and washed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A splash of water

Milk and Serving

  • 2 cups oat milk, preferably barista or any creamy vegan milk of choice
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Optional: chopped fresh strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Simmer Strawberries: Add the hulled and washed strawberries to a small saucepan along with a splash of water. Bring to a boil while stirring, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the strawberries are soft and juicy.
  2. Add Sweeteners and Flavor: Remove the pan from heat and stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup depending on the natural sweetness of your strawberries.
  3. Blend the Puree: Using a handheld blender or a countertop blender, blend the strawberry mixture until smooth. Allow the puree to cool completely.
  4. Assemble the Drink: Divide the cooled strawberry puree equally between two tall glasses. Fill the glasses with ice cubes.
  5. Add Oat Milk and Serve: Pour the cold oat milk over the ice and strawberry puree in each glass. Optionally, top with chopped fresh strawberries. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy your vegan strawberry milk!
